Actually more like 3.5. The plaza is packed so find parking was fun but it was strangely for other restaurants in the plaza. Good then that we didn't have to wait but also a bit skeptical. Nonetheless, got seated right away even though I added myself while on the way on the Yelp Waitlist. It was only two of us so we only decided for the sweet and spicy chicken and the kimchi fried rice. The chicken was not just chicken wings which if you want all pieces of the chicken, great but then you are left with random pieces that are kind of hard to eat. Would much rather have it wings or at least chopped in a way where it is easier to eat. The flavor was great but I think it could've done with a bit more breading. A pretty good portion and enough for both of us. For the kimchi fried rice, it comes on a bed of cheese. The fried rice was also pretty good. Could've had more kick with more tangy kimchi or more "wok hei" flavor making it almost burnt but it was still a good complement to the chicken. Overall the meal was decent, the service was solid, and the vibe is what you would expect with a pocha. Maybe gets more hype later in the night but if you want a more quiet time, come for dinner.

Came here after a flight and wanted to eat some late night snacks so this was one of the places we wanted to try! We had their pork mozzarella cheese fondue and their boneless chicken and fries, their pork was amazing and hit the spot, the boneless chicken was kind of plain and unsatisfying! Their server was really friendly and helpful and we were just glad we were able to find a place to eat late, and they had lots of options! However you may feel kinda greasy afterwards! Great place for late snacks! Most likely you need to come with friends and drink too! Plenty of parking!

First and foremost, THANK YOU for having a YELP waiting list! Love it! Secondly, yes my kids believe they are Asian because that is all they want to eat So, today for dinner we tried this new place Hanshin Pocha! Omg! DELICIOUS! I have big teenagers that can eat! And we ordered 7 plates, they were all gone! The only one plate I would replace in our future visits would be udon noodles. However, if you like squid the whole squid is a must... just a different perspective because you cut it yourself. The service is EXCELLENT, very polite and happy workers. Also my curiosity, I just had to ask what the name stands for, our server said that it is in the name of the apartment in Korea where it all began! Kudos to them! Love to hear stories of how a small dream becomes so successful! Will definitely be coming back.

My family and I had a late dinner at Hanshin Pocha last week. We chose this place because it was open late and located near the freeway exit, which made it a convenient pitstop during our long drive back home. We entered the restaurant around 10:30pm on Friday, and there were still many groups dining and trending K-Pop music playing in the background. However, despite the fun and lively environment, you can tell that the restaurant was understaffed. We ordered the Chicken Mozzarella Cheese Fondue, Seafood Soft Tofu Jjigae, and LA Galbi. We also ordered a couple bowls of rice because they're sold separately. Out of the three entrees, my fave was the Chicken Mozzarella Cheese Fondue. It was salty & spicy, and the cheese pull was impressive. If I wasn't driving, then I definitely would've ordered a drink to go with it. The Seafood Soft Tofu Jjigae was loaded with seafood and had the right amount of spice. The LA Galbi was well-seasoned, but a bit tough to chew and the portion size was smaller than expected despite being the most expensive dish out of the three. Overall, we had a very filling meal and the food was comforting, but very indulgent.

Hanshin Pocha is a nice place to both dine at and enjoy the later parts of the night when other nearby places for drinks are packed to the brim. The staff are welcoming and never pressured us to order food or snacks. We, as a group of 3, ordered a few of their drinks and their DIY Rice Ball. The DIY Rice Ball is sooo much fun and at an affordable price that I highly recommend it if you have children, from as young as toddler to as old as 30+ :) Our server came by to walk us through the process, and even as a group of adults it was so much fun to mess around. The KPOP music and videos playing in the restaurant are also just loud enough to keep conversations between tables private but not loud enough that you can't hear the person directly across from you. A+!

I wanted Korean food for Father's Day but the first place we went to had a lot of items sold out already so we had to find an alternative. It was very fortunate that we found this one. We ordered four dishes: the boneless fried chicken, tteokbokki, DIY rice balls, and the grilled squid. The chicken was flavorful and worked well with the the sauces that they gave. The grilled squid was nice and chewy with just the right amount of flavor so you could still enjoy the squids natural taste. The tteokbokki was filled with a lot of beef and fish cake, a little spicy, but very filling. My kids enjoyed the DIY rice balls, it was something fun to do and a good side to the main dishes. Try this place out

My go to food! Always great. The delivery was not very fast but decent. I definitely order it again.

Still can't find anything to complain about this place. They are constantly adding new menus to accommodate customers. I have yet to try the new menus yet, but they all look amazing. A lot of customers are there for a meal vs drinking so they added more things you could eat as a meal. New menus are below: 1. Spicy Galbichim 2. Grilled Galbi 3. Brisket Udon Stir Fry 4. Kimchi Fried Rice 5. Katsu with Fries I can't wait to try them all and I am sure it'll be amazing as always. For those who hasn't tried Hanshin Pocha yet you are missing out. Authentic Korea Food you must eat in Rowland Heights. Worth fighting for a parking spot.
